Terms of use
Gift Circle is a gift-planning and recommendation service. Recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees, and product price, stock, delivery, suitability and retailer terms can change after a recommendation is shown.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in details secure and provide information you are entitled to use. Adult-managed child profiles must be created and managed by an appropriate parent, guardian or responsible adult.
Gift recommendations
Gift Circle uses profile information, preferences, feedback and live product discovery to rank ideas. Previously discovered products may be cached to make later searches faster, but the saved cache does not limit what Gift Circle can search for. Always check the retailer page before buying, especially price, stock, age suitability, sizing, delivery and returns.
Shared profiles
Only share a Gift Passport with people you are comfortable giving access to the profile information it contains. Buyers' private notes, budgets and purchase history stay separate.
Retailer purchases
Purchases are made with the retailer, not Gift Circle. The retailer is responsible for the product, payment, delivery, returns, warranty and customer service. Gift Circle may receive commission from some outbound links.
Free access and Christmas Pass
Gift Circle has a free tier which includes core profile, Circle, wishlist, reminder, Gift Passport, gift-memory and Secret Santa features. Some smarter buying features are offered through the Christmas Pass 2026.
The Christmas Pass 2026 costs £4.99 as a one-off payment and gives the purchasing account access until 7 January 2027. It currently includes smart live gift discovery, Ask without asking, post-gift learning and live Christmas gift planning. New users may be offered a limited smart-search trial before payment. The Pass is not a subscription and does not automatically renew.
The price and access period are shown before checkout. Payment is processed through Stripe using Floot Payments. Gift Circle does not receive or store your full card details. A successful payment activates the Pass for the account that completed checkout.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights. If you have a payment problem or believe a refund is due, contact Gift Circle support.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to access another person's private data, interfere with the app or use invitations and shared profiles to impersonate or harass somebody.
Availability and changes
Gift Circle is evolving and features may change. We aim to keep the service accurate and available but cannot promise uninterrupted operation or that every recommendation will be suitable.
Account deletion
You can initiate deletion from the Me screen. Some information may need to be retained where legally required, and a child profile can remain where another authorised guardian already manages it.
